Tell us about your company and the products or services you've offered.
Asian Munchies is a family-run business founded in 2021. We are based in Toronto, Canada.
Our XO Sauce came to be while participating in a fundraiser almost 4 years ago.This was meant to be a one-time thing, but with word of mouth and the power of social media, our brand continues to grow. We are very grateful that our XO Sauce has graced the kitchens of homes across the globe.
In Hong Kong, "XO" denotes high quality, luxury, and prestige. XO Sauce was developed in Hong Kong in the 1980s. It's a condiment made with dried seafood such as dried shrimp, squid, and scallops. High end ingredients, hence called "XO Sauce".
What makes your business different from the rest?
Like many others, our journey started during the pandemic. Every aunt, uncle and neighbor has their own version of "chilli oil". There is nothing wrong with chili oil, we're huge fans ourselves, but we had to come up with something different that sets us apart. Our family has been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. My dad was a professional chef for most of his career and used to make XO Sauce every now and then at home, so that was it. Asian Munchies XO Sauce was born.
What makes us different? We never mass produce. We make our product every 2-3 weeks in small batches only, without the use of any machinery or assembly line. The old fashioned way with a stove, pot, funnel and ladle. Everything is done in-house, family only.

How did you use the products you've purchased in your business?
While searching for a label supplier, we discovered StickerCanada last March. We placed a small order and were very impressed with a number of things. Amazing customer service. I've placed many orders ever since. Just placed a new order today, Jan 10, 2025.
